"We need to find God, and He cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence.” ~ Mother Teresa
In the turbulence of what is transpiring now in the United States, we can sometimes feel like a ship that has broken loose from its moorings—tossed this way and that by the next wave, thrown about by the power of the winds. We’re not sure if we are going to survive or, if we do, where we will end up. Some of us just want out of the storm, and we don’t care where we land. We think anything has to be better than this! Some of us have a destination in mind, and even in the midst of the storm, we keep our focus on the end result and our hand on the rudder. All of us need to find God. All of us need to hear God. But sometimes it’s hard to hear Him in the noise of the wind and the crashing of the storm.
It takes a determined effort to find and hear God in the midst of the storm, though He is already there. It is so important at this critical time that we quiet the storm within us, and the only way we can do that is to intentionally drop down into our spirit, shutting out the other voices. We rarely find God by accident, though God is so loving and merciful, it does happen sometimes. But most of the time we find God by looking for Him. We find Him “on purpose.”
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13, NKJV)
Satan stirs up storms to kill, steal, and destroy us. He wants us to doubt God; to doubt God’s love for us; to doubt God’s ability to help us. But God allows the storms to demonstrate to us that HE alone is GOD, and He uses what the devil means for evil to bring good into our lives. Storms are God’s opportunity to demonstrate His love and His power for those who are His. Even when our own actions have contributed to making a way for the storm, God is merciful to come to our aid when we repent and return to Him.
The United States of America is in the biggest, most dangerous storm since the Civil War. Our country is divided, and we want very different things. Half of the country wants to return to our Christian foundations, Judeo-Christian values, the liberty guaranteed to the people by the Constitution, and a nation with secure borders. The other half repudiates the GOD of the Bible and wants to be ruled by one world global secular humanism. Man is considered to be god, and therefore, whatever he wants to do is acceptable. Nation states must be destroyed, borders eliminated, and then the one world government becomes the god of all.
God has spoken through many of his current-day prophets that Donald J. Trump will be president for two terms. Are we hearing His prophets? Or are we hearing the news media? Which ones will we listen to? Do we throw in the towel because we are told to by the same media and party that loudly and bitterly refused to accept the results of the 2016 election?
I have followed some of these current-day prophets for years, and they have a track record of accuracy: Kim Clement, Hank Kunneman, Lance Wallnau, Dutch Sheets, Tim Sheets, Chuck Pierce, Rebecca Greenwood, and Lana Vawser. My spirit witnesses to what they are saying. Therefore, I do not accept that the election is a “done deal” just because the Democratic Party, Facebook, Twitter, CNN, and even Fox News says it is.
I believe that not only will Donald Trump have his second term, but that God is bringing to light and judgment all of the evil hidden works of darkness that are attempting to destroy this nation. We will be shocked and sickened by the level of corruption and depravity of those in high places in every area of our society. People are finally going to be held accountable for their crimes. That is their greatest fear, that is why they hate Donald Trump so much, that is why they planned to impeach him before he was even sworn in for his first term, that is why they cannot afford to have him in office for another term, and that is why they will do anything to stop that from happening. What they have not realized is that their battle is not with Donald Trump; their battle is with God. I believe they are about find that out, and I believe that God is going to restore the United States to righteousness. We will be returned to, “One nation under God.”
We have some very challenging weeks ahead of us, but keep your focus on what God says, not what the media says. Decree the Word of God over this nation. Decree the will of God be done in this nation. And have faith!
