A few days ago I awoke seeing a picture of a box; a hand pushed the cover off to the side, and I saw that the box contained something, but it was filled with worms crawling through the contents. I once opened a bag of trail mix, reached into it and grabbed a handful of nuts and raisins; thankfully, before I popped it into my mouth, I looked at what was in my hand to see little white worms crawling amidst the nuts and fruit. I almost threw up on the spot—it was disgusting! I opened the bag wider to look into the package and saw the bag was full of those nauseating little worms. Yuck!!! They were hidden, until I opened the bag. That’s what the picture of the box reminded me of, those worms; not the long pinkish kind that we sometimes use for fishing, but short, white worms. They had found a home in the contents of the box and were moving through it. I didn’t see what was in the box (the worms had my full attention!), so I have been asking the Lord to help me understand what this picture with the box of disgusting worms meant.
My understanding now is that the contents of the box represent both our nation and the “votes in the ballot box” from the Nov. 3 election. For decades, the enemy has stealthily been planting corrupting worms into the seven mountains of our culture: media, government, education, economy, family, religion, and arts and/entertainment. It has been hidden, because the worms in every area covered for each other area. The media has been a major player in hiding the existence of worms and corruption in the other areas, because the media itself is full of the corrupting worms. A vast network of these “networked and communicating worms” have succeeded into taking over power in every area of our society.
God has now pushed off the lid of the box, revealing the corruption inside our culture. I believe the depth and width and level of the corruption in every area of our life is far worse than we could ever have imagined. But God has begun the process of exposure of these worms of corruption, because He intends to do something about them! The “votes in the ballot box” have also been corrupted by a network of satan’s worms, and I believe God is now in the process of exposing that corruption. I believe the exposure of the corruption and manipulation in the election process will lead directly to the exposure of the corruption in all of the seven mountains of our culture.
God has ordained a third Great Awakening for this hour, and many people’s eyes have been opened to see the corrupt worms ravishing our land. As more corruption is exposed, more people will see the truth and be freed from the veil of deception that has covered them. Our battle is not with people; our battle is with satan and his evil cohorts. The worms are the evil spirits working through people. They came so close to total victory that they felt emboldened to “come out of the closet” and declare their true agenda: overthrow of the American system of government and the American economic system, in the name of “progress.” Bind and rebuke those spirit worms, nullify their power, and pray for the deliverance and salvation of the people they are working through!
Do not be intimidated, do not give up, but continue to pray earnestly and consistently for God’s will to be done in this election and in the United States. Continue to pray that evil will be cleansed from our nation, and that God’s chosen ones will be sitting in the White House and Congress in January. If we do that, I believe we will receive this promise from God:
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25).
