In my last post, I shared my “vision” of the worms in the box and what the Lord told me about them. Today, as part of a devotional, I was led to Luke 10:
“And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven” Luke 10:18-20.
As I read that verse, the Spirit of the Lord once again brought forth the image of the worms that had infested the contents of the box which represented both our nation and the 2020 election. As I once again saw those worms, which Holy Spirit had already shown me represented the evil spirits and demons that had infiltrated and infested every area of our culture and the election process, the Lord said to me, “I’ve given you authority over them; crush them under your feet!” As I opened my mouth to speak, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me in great boldness and righteous indignation, and I began to bind and rebuke those demonic spirits, declaring and decreeing the victory Jesus had already won over them. I declared and decreed that these invading demonic spirts were defeated, and that they would never take over the United States of America because this land belongs to God Almighty! I decreed that they have been exposed and will be removed, and God’s people will continue to attack them and throw them out until they are all gone! It was a very Holy Spirit energized time! I visualized stomping those worms beneath my feet, and I can tell you, it was very satisfying!
Remember, I am talking about spiritual warfare – stomping demonic spirits, NOT people! God’s desire is for all who have not been given over to a reprobate mind to be saved, and we must pray for them. At the same time, we must pray and decree that people who are advancing satan’s agenda will be removed from positions of power and influence if they will not repent and turn to God. God’s desire is for his people to “lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way,” so He tells us to “make supplications, prayers and intercessions, and giving of thanks of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority” 1 Tim. 2:1-2. Crush the evil spirits under your feet—not the people!
“tread” Strong’s #3961: “a. to trample, crush with the feet; b. to advance by setting foot upon: to encounter successfully the greatest perils from the machinations and persecutions with which Satan would fain thwart the preaching of the gospel”
Just as Jesus sent out the 70 disciples to administer His victory and authority over all the representatives of satan’s kingdom, so does He continue to send out His disciples today; as we follow Jesus in faith, ministering in His name and fighting spiritual battles, we can be confident that we also have His promise that nothing will harm us.
"When we become the representatives of God’s Kingdom, God, through Jesus, gives us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, the representatives of Satan’s evil kingdom, and overcome all the power of the enemy. Notice, we have total authority. The total victory of Jesus and the total authority of Jesus is now vested in us as His followers, His disciples, and the representatives of His kingdom. Then, lest we should be afraid—and I’m sure fear could often enter our hearts as we view this conflict—Jesus closes with those words, “Nothing will harm you.”~ Derek Prince
The Church is God’s governing body on the earth today. We are the Church! And we have been given the total authority and power of Jesus to enforce His total victory over satan. Let’s go out boldly to crush the demonic spirits, the worms, the serpents, and the scorpions; let's set the captives free, save the lost, heal the sick, and restore righteousness to our nation!
Let's do this!
