Today, I heard the voice of the Spirit whisper, “Victory is never so near as when it looks the most impossible.”
I wasn’t praying at the time; I wasn’t being “spiritual.” I was getting dressed. And yet, in this ordinary moment, Holy Spirit spoke this word to me. I am convinced He speaks a lot more to us than we recognize. I thank God He is sharpening my hearing; I know He wants to do the same for us all, because in these last days it will become increasingly necessary to hear His voice. Ask Him to sharpen your hearing. Ask Him to teach you to recognize His voice and recognize these “divine interruptions.”
VICTORY IS NEVER SO NEAR AS WHEN IT LOOKS THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE
This word from Holy Spirit captured me. I began to think of all the stories in the Bible when it looked like all was lost. Adam had been given everything, and in one wrong choice, lost it all for himself and for us. But God had a plan. Abraham and Sarah were well beyond child-producing and child-bearing years. But God had a plan. The Egyptians determined to keep the Hebrews in permanent bondage, and failing that, to kill them all at the Red Sea. But God had a plan. God anointed David to be King, but King Saul determined that David would never be king, and tried to kill him numerous times. But God had a plan. Haman almost succeeded in wiping out the Jews. But God had a plan. Satan thought he had defeated GOD when Jesus died on the Cross. But God had a plan!
I began to think of all the times when I was in my own personal dark nights of the soul that seemed impossible to walk through. But here I am, still alive and kicking, because God had a plan.
GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN!
We can trust GOD, His goodness and His faithfulness, no matter what things look like. We can trust Him even when we don’t understand, because absolutely nothing takes GOD by surprise. There are no “uh oh’s,” or, “Wow, I didn’t see that coming!” with the LORD. Not for individuals, not for His Church, and not for nations.
“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,” (Isaiah 46:10).
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them” (Psalm 139:16).
What was true for David and Jeremiah is equally true for us. God has fashioned our days. There were all written “when as yet there were none of them.”
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
God always a plan, and it is always a plan for blessing, peace, and hope for His children. And anyone can accept His invitation to be His child. The invitation is for everyone!
“For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life" (John 3:16 TPT).
When we believe in the Lord Jesus and receive what He has done for us, we align ourselves with God’s plan for our lives. We come under His protection and His blessing, and His plan for us is always for our good. It may not always look like it, from an earthly or fleshly point of view, but it is!
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Does that verse say “some” things work for our good? The things that we like? The happy things? The pleasant things? No, it says ALL things! The good, the bad, and the ugly. How can that possibly be? Because GOD has a plan! GOD always has a plan!
“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,” (Ephesians 1:11).
THINGS LOOK BAD
Frankly, things look bad for our nation right now. We are days away from inaugurating a president and vice-president who lied, cheated, and stole the election, and who have made plain their intention to strip us of our rights guaranteed to us in the Constitution. They have said they will open the borders, align with China, and punish those who disagree with their policies for any reason. They will continue not only to support, but to demand that Christians also support, abortion, homosexuality, sexual perversion, and the further dismantling of the family unit. No longer will children have mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters: they will have parents and siblings. And in the socialist model, no longer will even those who are called parents have primary responsibility for instilling values in the children—that will be the role of government. And if the parents disagree with government values, children will be told to report their parents to governmental authorities. Think that cannot happen in the United States of America? My friend, it is already happening.
SO WHAT ARE WE TO DO?
We are to turn to our GOD. There is a remnant of the Church that has repented for the sins of our nation, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14:
“ if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Does it look impossible that our nation will be saved and our land will be healed? In the natural, it certainly does look impossible. But, IS it impossible? No! How can I say this? Because, “with God nothing will be impossible (Luke 1:37),”and He “works all things after the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11).
Faith is not believing when you see it. Faith is believing until you see it! Go back to the beginning of this article and look at all the times when things looked impossible. BUT GOD HAD A PLAN and what looked like certain defeat turned into glorious victory!
THE CHURCH MUST BECOME A FIGHTING CHURCH
GOD has always had a plan for His Church and for America. It is critical in this hour that the Church aligns with GOD and fights for HIS Plan with our faith, our trust, and the weapons of our spiritual warfare. The Church becomes a fighting Church, against whom the gates of hell will not prevail (see Matthew 16:18), when Christians become fierce, spiritual faith warriors, willing to risk all for the Kingdom of GOD.
If your faith has been weakened by listening to the news media, spineless politicians, and false preachers who support anti-Christ agendas, get in the Word for yourself. Get in your prayer closet. Listen to God’s anointed prophets for this hour. GOD is going to have His way in this nation and in His Church, one way or another. I don’t know how, and I don’t know what it is going to look like, but I do know this: GOD will have His way; and I want to be found fighting with Him, not against Him!
‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,” (Isaiah 46:10).
If we fight now with faith and trust in GOD through prayer, intercession, decrees, binding and loosing, and warring in the spirit, we can have victory NOW. If we don’t align ourselves with God and His plan and fight alongside Him now, then, as a nation we are going to suffer unnecessary pain and hardship God did not intend for us or our children and grandchildren to suffer. And we will still have to fight later. We do have freedom of choice. And choices have consequences.
“Choose you this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15).
I pray we will choose to trust GOD now and fight until the Lord gives the victory!
Victory is never so near as when it looks the most impossible!
Love, Hugs, and Blessings,
Syandra
Thank you for the incredible post. It is all so right on target!
